For Jess …
nothing is alone, Toad the Wet Sprocket
something rushes over me
and i find myself standing here
lift my eyes up to the sky
and offer a silent prayer
sometimes all the shouting stops
and the restlessness loses hold
and i cry out to everything
that nothing is alone
if the winter won’t turn me
then the summer can’t burn me
and the rain will never
fall upon a restless soul
nothing is alone

Mistle Thrush is opening for David J (ex-Bauhaus and Love Rockets) on Sunday, March 31st at The Paradise Rock Club on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. Nice! The Paradise is by far the best venue in Boston to see Mistle Thrush. I just checked out David J’s website at www.davidjonline.com and his music sounds fabulous. Tickets for the show are $15 and I’m sure they will disappear fast. Interested in joining a small posse to the show? Let me know! Mistle Thrush doesn’t have their new material on their website just yet; but you can hear a few tunes on their profile page at MP3.com.
