Jon at Bostonist clued me into Tourfilter recently. It’s a website to keep tabs on where and when your favorite bands are playing. You can also subscribe to other people’s alerts. I set up my Tourfilter list based on who I play on Exploit Boston Radio. It’s handy!
This is the website where I've documented life and work adventures since 2001: concert and food photography, music recommendations, events I'm hosting and attending, etcetera.
I live in Somerville and work out of Design Annex, a coworking space for creatives in Union Square.
How does this compare with Tourbus?
If you look at each of the sites you’ll probably see one is fancier with the web design than the other. Tourfilter is a minimalistic site; but I like it. It was easy to copy/paste the big list of bands I play on Exploit Boston Radio into the textarea field thingy on Tourfilter. Tourbus looks cool but I don’t really have time to look up or manually enter all the band names.
Thanks for pointing me to that site :) I love their mininalistic, no nonsense design to boot.
