The Flickr Photo Map Love Continues

Flickr’s new photo map is amazing. The thing that would have made it more useful for event photos on Exploit Boston’s event photo group map is the ability to sort by date. And hey, guess what, they added that feature and you can do that now. The filter option at the bottom of the map page lets you zoom into a group’s photos by person (contributor) and date. They don’t include a link to the map at the top of the group’s pages (like they do on a individual photo area) so you need to type /map at the end of the group’s URL such as flickr.com/groups/exploitboston/pool/map. Now more people just need to plop their Boston event photos on the map so the search results include more of the 806 photos in the group.
