Say hi to Exploit Boston!
When most people were eating turkey the other day, I brought Exploit Boston! back to life. Instead of being an overall arts+entertainment blog, it now focuses on my love/obsession/whateveryouwanttocallit with music. Every Sunday I add a new “Get Out!” entry with live music recommendations. Here’s the upcoming week’s list of recommendations including Tourfilter DJ Night on Thursday at River Gods. There are 34 hours of music playing on Exploit Boston Radio featuring Boston bands past and present. I’ll be doing a big update to the station this week.

Michael is live blogging tonight’s Bruins game at the Boston Garden via his BostonNOW blog. He’s updating it every 3-5 minutes with his usual “makes sports somehow sound interesting” style.

Boston Rocks! Girls Guns & Glory cover Johnny Cash
Girls Guns & Glory performed as Ryan Adams for their Halloween show at Hennessey’s a couple weeks ago. They also sprinkled in a few of their own songs plus “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash. Here’s the video I took of the song. Try to ignore the shaky camera — perhaps a tripod next time!
