I’m not sure how long it’ll be there; but that just might be for the best. ;) — There’s an article in today’s (Tuesday, March 7, 2006) Sidekick about Exploit Boston Game Night on pages 8-9. Meredith Goldstein (who wrote the article) and I are going to be on NECN today sometime between 12:30 and 12:40 talking about game night. Apparently it will also be archived on the web at boston.com at some point, too. I couldn’t find the Sidekick article on the web. If you’re around Boston tonight, join us for the next installment of Exploit Boston Game Night tonight at 7pm. The event happens biweekly at the Common Ground, 85 Harvard Avenue in Allston. You can take the Green Line’s “B” train to the Harvard Ave stop or take the 57 or 66 bus to the stop near Herrell’s or Harper’s Ferry at Harvard Ave/Brighton Ave. Free admission and 21+, too. As of this past weekend, we’ve got 35 games to play. Michael poked around his parents basement and found several gems to add to the collection [...]

(The two previous Boston shindigs were at The Paradise Lounge.) The start time is 7pm and the game playing fun should be happening until at least 10:30 PM. The kitchen is open until 11pm and the bar is open until 2pm. They’ve got really good food if you want to make dinner plans there, too. There was a blurb in today’s Boston Metro about the event on page 11 in the entertainment section (PDF). Game night also happens in conjunction with the Common Ground iPod night so if you want everyone to hear your tunes, bring a 30-minute playlist. More info on the event website. Thanks to Ryan, there will be new and improved event website graphics for February 21st and beyond.
