Freelance Hub Lunch and Boston Blogs Bash photos

raquo; The Freelance Hub lunch today was its usual fun, interesting and tasty self. Thirty people gathered for conversation, networking and food. Someone had a digital camera on hand so photos will be up in a couple days. We’ve been meeting at Bertucci’s at Alewife for most of the 2 1/2 years that the lunch has existed. Starting in June we’ll be meeting twice each month at different locations. The first lunch of the month will be at the same place: Peking Garden in Lexington (Center), MA. The second lunch will rotate each month at various restaurants in the Cambridge and Boston area. If you’re on the sooz.com e-list (see that little box on the right? sign up there) you can attend lunch at the $11 advance registration + payment rate. All other guests pay $13 in advance or $15 at the door. The cost includes networking, lunch and a followup email from me listing everyone’s contact information. I have a few other ideas in the works to compliment the lunch but it’s a bit too soon to talk about that just yet. To learn more about the lunch and to register, visit the Freelance Hub area of this website.

raquo; Last night we had a surprise visitor at the Boston Blogs event. Meg from Boston.com stopped by to ask people about “the biggest rule of thumb about keeping a weblog” and she took a few photos, too. You can check out the gallery online at DigitalMASS.boston.com.
